This Could Be Really Good Or Really Bad

[this is good]
That looks awesome! I admit, I didn't used to like Richard Gere very much, but then I saw him in The Mothman (which scared the Bejeesuz out of me) and then in Chicago and something else more recent which slips my mind. He's really good. I think I didn't like him so much in Pretty Woman, but that's only because he seemed kind of - 'plastic' or something. I like Diane Lane too.
This is the kind of film that will have single women all over America looking for a house on the beach and a man to go with it. :-)
I just got back from a vacation close to Rodanthe...I think that house was torn down soon after the movie.
Now that I look at it again, the house looks really odd, like it's computer generated or something. It has a very surreal quality. And how precarious to have a house right on the beach. Maybe that's why it got torn down? Oh well. it is Hollywood after all!
There are some houses that close to the water, but they are abandoned and eventually torn down.

The Outer Banks is just a big sandbar, so any major storm tends to move the shoreline significantly, cut new channels to the Pamlico Sound, etc.
I hate movies like this. And I hate this one.
But Diane Lane is pretty hot, right? Oh, yeah, maybe that's the problem. It's fiction, loathesome fiction. Carry on.
He sounds a little bit like DeForest Kelley in the introduction, "Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not an actor." I couldn't even make it to the end of the trailer.
you're ruining your reputation as a sensitive, tender hearted romantic. ;-)
I like to be taken away to a wonderful fantasy when watching a movie. Even though the latest Indiana Jones was a little formulaic, there is still something great about imaging oneself as a physically agile, professor, treasure hunter, bumbler navigating the jungle with poison darts shortly behind.

Nicely, when it comes to finding a beautiful woman, falling in love and sharing our life together in a cool house near the water, the movie has a lot to live up to compared to real life. I am very fortunate this way already :)

Your reputation has been restored. :-*
