My dear friend, since freshman year in college, came up to see me too.

Came back from vacation and picked up four new boxes of disposable contacts and another pair of glasses that I ordered at Costco before I left.

Even at 35,000 feet on the way to Minneapolis for my mom's 80th birthday party he haunts us.
We'd planned on a longer and later dinner, but my meetings got delayed and we could only grab a quick sushi and some thai iced coffee before having to meet up with someone at 8 pm for another dinner.
It was good to catch up none-the-less. I should have snapped a picture of us together too!
BTW: my brother-in-law thinks I'm a contract killer, but he's sleep deprived.
Wow. I'm glad I got filled up the tank when I was down in San Jose today. The $3.59 price at the bottom of the sign was for diesel.

None other than our dear Karen! Look at that smile ladies and gentlemen; it melts hearts and muddles minds. I know it made me smile to see it and I had to whip out the camera phone to share this before she spotted me.
Hope I make it to this thing without incident, there's no one on the roads tonight. Duh! If I didn't love Joanie as much as I do...
