Given the unimaginable trauma surprise I got after my last birthday party this past January...I think this question of the day is better left unanswered.

By my current definition of "home", I'm pretty far away. And yes, I do get homesick.

I'll pass and maybe answer this in a year or twelve, as I'm pretty sure I'm in the middle of a "most memorable" crush at the moment.

But because I have these fingernails, I can't use the touchscreen keyboard on the iPhone.  (I wonder how many other women didn't get an iPhone because of our perceived need to have professionally manicured nails?) Unlike the touchscreen on my T-Mobile MDA, the iPhone needs to have skin contact to work, pressure from the tap of a nail or stylus won't work.

That was the main reason I didn't get one. And I thought they were over-priced (validated by the rebate Apple gave a month after they came out). And I don't like first generation gadgets; I'll wait until they work the bugs out. And they don't use push email and I must have immediate access to email on my "device". And I don't see a need to have music or photos on me at all times. A camera, yes, of course. But an MP3 player, whatever. All that logic resulted in me getting a Blackberry Curve when all my friends were jumping on the iPhone train.

I do like having a Blackberry again. Sure it's got its bugs and bumps too, but it's much better than that Windows Mobile piece of crap I used for over a year. And I can type on it with these lovely french nails...which, looking down at them now, are way past due for a fill-in. Oh damn. Another thing that needs to be taken care of before too long.

QotD: Today is Vox's first anniversary since the official launch.  What's the best experience you've had on Vox in the past year?

I've been on Vox since before the "official launch", so to me there's more to cull through to answer this question than there is for some. But even so, there are way too many wonderful experiences I've had as a result of keeping this little blog than I could  describe completely one post to answer the QotD.

Plus, I'm not big on "best" kinds of lists or designations in any event. How can I pick just one "favorite" anything? There's too much to choose any single thing as best. I can't answer any "what's your favorite"- type of question so this one is particularly hard.

What's your favorite color Patty? "That depends".
